MzRizk presents ‘Perception’ by el Seed & ‘KAYA’ by Lara Köse

Perception offers a rare insight into the life of the Zaraeeb people and showcases the process of contemporary artist eL Seed’s most ambitious project to date.
Seed uses his art as an echo of the stories of the communities that he meets around
the world and aims to amplify their voices.
He finds his artwork being a way of building a link between peoples around the world.

The movie provides fascinating documentation of an enlightening human experience for all involved.

Perception will be accompanied with the short film KAYA (2018)

Kaya is an outsider even in her orphanage. When she encounters a clandestine group, aspects of her identity come into focus and something powerful happens within.

Filmed on location in Turkey and premiering at the Sydney Film Festival, KAYA explores the Alevi faith and community, Turkey’s largest religious minority.
