The King of Staten Island

From the hilarious director/producer Judd Apatow comes THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND, a comedy-drama about the pot-smoking hopeless Scott (played by Pete Davidson) coming-of-age in his mid-20’s and properly facing and dealing with the grief of losing his fire-fighter father in the September 11 attacks.

Scott (Pete Davidson) has been a case of arrested development ever since his firefighter father died when he was seven. Having achieved very little by his mid-20’s, he tepidly chases a dream of becoming a tattoo artist that seems far out of reach. As his ambitious younger sister (Maude Apatow) heads off to college, Scott is still living with his ER nurse mother (Oscar-winning Marisa Tomei) spending his days smoking weed.
But when his mother starts dating a loudmouth firefighter named Ray (comedian Bill Burr), Scott is forced to grapple with his grief and take his first steps toward moving forward in life.
