Women’s Adventure Film Tour features some of the world’s most inspiring women in adventure. This festival is a celebration of the fantastic women around us who are doing extraordinary things. In a global first it was launched to a sell-out crowd in Sydney in May 2017. We are pleased to be now hosting the Women’s Adventure Film Tour at the Thornbury Picture House! This is an extraordinary chance to come and experience a night of edge of your seat outdoor adventuring and story telling.

Synopsis: This years film selection comes from the Telluride Mountain Film Festival. Mountainfilm uses the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. Launched in Colorado in 1979, Mountainfilm is now one of the world’s most exciting documentary film festivals touring five continents and seen by more than 70,000 people. Join us for a selection of the best female adventure films from the 2016 festival. They will leave you inspired, breathless and on the edge of your set. You get the picture.
