This special occasion involves all attendees receiving a special Ghibli pin! Hayao Miyazaki’s Academy Award®-winning masterpiece “Spirited Away” was the biggest box office hit of all time in Japan and helped redefine the possibilities of animation for American audiences and a generation of new filmmakers and it’s now turning 20!
Please note, weekend sessions will be dubbed in English, weekday evening sessions will be in Japanese with ENG subtitles.

Combining Japanese mythology with “Alice in Wonderland”-type whimsy, “Spirited Away” cemented Miyazaki’s reputation as an icon of animation and storytelling. 

As part of this special event, every attendee on our weekend sessions will receive a very special, limited edition Studio Ghibli pin!

Synopsis: Spirited Away is a wondrous fantasy about a young girl named Chihiro who discovers a secret world of strange spirits, creatures and sorcery. When her parents are mysteriously transformed, she must call upon the courage she never knew she had to free herself and return her family to the outside world.
