McCabe and Mrs. Miller

Robert Altman has made a dozen films that can be called great in one way or another, but one of them is perfect, and that one is "McCabe & Mrs. Miller ” Roger Ebert

Charismatic gambler John McCabe (Warren Beatty) arrives in a mining community and decides to open a brothel. The local residents are impressed by his confident demeanor and fast talk, but crafty sex worker Constance Miller (Julie Christie) sees through McCabe’s words and realises he isn’t as sharp as he seems.
With a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack from Leonard Cohen, we also are marking two years since his passing.
