We welcome filmmakers Karen Pearlman & Richard James Allen from Sydney, accompanying this special 20-year retrospective of their short films, including the recent multi-awarded film I want to make a film about women (2020). Physical TV is their company name, and they make dramas, documentaries and dance films, in a scholarly but playful way, exploring the history and potential future of the cinema medium.
