Unknown Pleasures presents
JOURNEY TO THE END OF NIGHT (1982)
Q&A with director Peter Tammer + Video analysis by Adrian Martin

Peter Tammer’s documentary JOURNEY TO THE END OF NIGHT is an extraordinary documentary. The recollections of a shattered and traumatised soldier, a former escapee from the advancing Japanese army, relates the horrors of war, his doubts and misgivings of the support of comrades, his fear for the loss of his best friend, and of course, his own fear of dying.

Presented by Unknown Pleasures, a series of screenings curated by Chris Luscri & Bill Mousoulis, featuring the best of Australian indie cinema, both new and old, with discussions with the filmmakers. www.pureshitauscinema.com/unknown_pleasures.html
