Goody Goody Gumdrops (A Tropical F*ck Storm Film)

There'll be laughter and tears, great wisdom and beers (and great music of course!) ” TPH

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND – ONE NIGHT ONLY – SPECIAL EVENT! With pre-show DJ set from TFS themselves! Set over three days, Goody Goody Gumdrops is an absurd, comic observational musical documentary cum live album launch for Tropical F*ck Storm’s new album Deep States.

Situated deep in Central Victoria, Australia, on the banks of the Goulburn River at TFS HQ, we follow the band as they prepare for a rock show in their barn. Referencing the feel of the Australian Western and Australian Gothic (see Wake In Fright, The Cars That Ate Paris and Picnic at Hanging Rock) we travel with the band through their abject, weird and beautiful space. The weekend starts as the band welcomes you into their studio/cocktail lounge and entertain you with a Rat Pack style performance.

There is an acoustic performance at dusk on the banks of The Goulburn River with the film climaxing in a wild unhinged rock show in the barn. There are too many dogs, there are bogan tarot readers, there are post apocalyptic buses. There’s laughter and tears, great wisdom and beers.
